Numeorus time I have been asked on how to sell their photograph on the internet. Especially photographers.  So I blog about this topic.

I have been selling photograph or illustration online via photo agency.  I help people building website and every time  I create front-end web design I need images such as illustration , icons and photograph, so I constantly buy them online.  So I was thinking I could sell images or photograph as well. That was 3 years ago when I started it. All my  photographs are now still making money as stock-photos (read definition).

Here is what you need to do

Visit Dreamstime.com and Sign up as photographer - yes, it’s free.

Make sure you read the terms of Use & Conditions.  Everything is explained about Royalty-Free concept and license, Image usage,  model and property releases/clearances, refund, contributors’ obligations – non-exclusivity and exclusivity

Getting paid.

Make sure you have paypal account – sign up here (free) – if you don’t have it yet – so you can get paid.

Will do people buy my photos?

Any photograph will be sold. But the best way is to make sure – of course quality and artistic side is important – your photographs are suitable and perfect to be used on advertising, either print or digital media. Before you taking photos, think about what would people use it for.  Be creative and see images on sale. Be pro active on the forum. Many members would help you on the forum.

For sure people will buy your photographs.

At least make sure to spread the words about what you do, tell all your friends, send them your profile links if you have budget, pay to advertise your profile. Finally have fun with it.
